Hi had a mk1 a few years ago and it did something similar. I had to change the switches on the pilars that turned the interior lights off when you closed the doors. The wires had all come loose in the switch. Not sure if its your answer though ? good luck resolving it. Quote
NikpV Posted August 14, 2006 Report Posted August 14, 2006 do you have the lights on the inside bottom of the doors if so then maybe broken insulation on wires in rubber boots (doors to pillars) try opening all the doors, put a fuse in (if you can) and wiggle the rubber boots one at a time and see if the fuse blows Quote
